Since consolidating with Overton Habitat in 2017, Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity has been busy building a volunteer and donor base to better serve the community of Overton County. Several neighborhood clean-up days called “Rock the Block” have been held in Livingston to assist home owners with trash removal and lawn care needs. Habitat volunteers have also been busy completing several senior repair projects under the “Neighbor 2 Neighbor” repair program. In 2021 UCHFH joined a family and dozens of volunteers to build an affordable and energy efficient home on Thomas Road. This is the sixth Habitat home built in Overton County.
Additional volunteers and donors are required to sustain the ministry’s work in Overton County. For more information, call one of the Community Board members listed below or Executive Director, Pam Ealey (931-528-1711 ext 1) |
