We are accepting resumes and cover letters from individuals interested in serving as our next Volunteer Program Manager!! He/She recruits, educates, schedules, and loves on our volunteers - from the construction site to the ReStore to various committees and special events, in Putnam and Overton County. He/She works in the community to build our awareness while building a strong volunteer base. Will collaborate with team members to ensure all volunteer needs are met. Responsibilities also include all required record-keeping of volunteer information and tracking hours. Writes and develops any written volunteer materials. Works in the community to promote volunteer opportunities with the ministry. And organizes any volunteer appreciation activities.
In addition he/she publishes our monthly e-newsletters and oversees our social media presence by following our annual communications strategies.
Plus he/she will spend fifteen-twenty percent of their schedule in Overton County.
Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity’s next Volunteer Program Manager must have the following qualifications:
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Thrives on multi-tasking and paying attention to details
- Excellent organization
- Excellent relationship building skills and background
- Previous supervision background is helpful
- Understanding of the mission and vision of UCHFH
This is a fulltime position working typically Mon-Fri 8a-5p (but some evening/weekend hours will be required, especially during construction season). Some traveling within our service area is required.
