NOW SEEKING: Aging in Place Sr Repair Project Mgr + Communications Specialist
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the growth in UCHFH's Aging in Place Senior Home Repair program. This will include client in-take process, case management, directing admin volunteer support, working with construction department on scheduling, and building community relationships to help expand the program and serve more seniors annually in the region. This position will lead the AIP program to the next level.
In addition, this person will be responsible for all communications efforts for the Habitat affiliate including: social media, news releases, newsletters, direct appeals, public speaking, updating website, etc. He/She will develop and follow an annual communications plan that will serve each department's needs. From volunteer recruitment to donor development, the plan will include every facet of the housing ministry. This person will also be responsible for ensuring all staff members are aware of current HFHI's branding guidelines as well as lead Advocacy efforts on behalf of UCHFH.
This position will also devote some time to researching and writing grant applications, as well as a few admin tasks.
The ideal candidate should be extremely talented in multi-tasking and working as a self-starter. MS Office skills is a must and experience with Canva is a plus. Strong written communication skills is desired. Previous work with Seniors, grant-writing, or communications background is helpful. Any ideal candidate should have the desire to work in a non-profit and the passion to serve others.
Bachelors Degree preferred, or strong related work history
