Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity offers two fun and impactful ways to support our mission each year: the Race to Build Hope in Overton County and the Fiddler 5K in Smithville. Both events bring together runners, walkers, and community members to raise funds for affordable housing in the Upper Cumberland.
The Race to Build Hope, held each spring in Livingston, features a chip-timed 5K and a 1-mile fun run, welcoming participants of all ages—including strollers and leashed dogs.
In the summer, the Fiddler 5K takes place during Smithville’s Fiddler’s Jamboree, supporting Habitat’s work in DeKalb County. This family-friendly event includes a 5K and fun run.
Whether you're racing competitively or walking in support, these events are a great way to get involved and help local families build brighter futures.
