every hand makes a difference

We love that youth want to help Habitat for Humanity!  Even though you might be too young to pick up a hammer, you can still do some great stuff at Habitat for Humanity to help.  Here are some ideas to get you started:

• Start your own fundraiser to raise money for a home
• Plant flowers at a Habitat house after it is completed
• Decorate lunch bags for volunteer lunches
• Make a lunch or a snack for a volunteer group building or helping in our ReStore
• Hang door hangers in a neighborhood where we have picked up donations
• Rake leaves in our Habitat neighborhoods
• Join our Cookeville High School Habitat Chapter
• Join our Tennessee Tech University Habitat Chapter
• Talk to people about Habitat for Humanity- Be a Jr. Advocate
• Pray for Habitat for Humanity, our volunteers our families and our work
